Easter Crafts with Kids

Hello everyone,

with Easter fast approaching and the arrival of my beautiful grandbaby Luca, I thought it would be a great time to share some craft ideas that you can do with your kids and grandbabies. I believe that spending quality time with your children is essential, and what better way to do that than through fun crafting activities.

Firstly, traditional egg dying is always a fun activity to do. However, if you want to try something different, you can experiment with techniques like marbleizing, decoupage, or painting with acrylics.

Bunny ears headbands are also easy to make using paper or fabric and attaching them to a headband or hair clip.

Additionally, Easter wreaths are a great decoration for your home, and you can use a foam wreath form and decorate it with plastic eggs, flowers, or other Easter-themed decorations. Bunny masks made from cardstock or construction paper can also be a fun way to get creative, and Easter baskets made from paper or plastic cups can be decorated with ribbons, stickers, or glitter.

Paper plate chicks, carrot crafts, and Easter Bunny finger puppets are also great options for children of different ages.

Finally, making Easter-themed salt dough ornaments with flour, salt, and water, shaping them into designs like eggs, bunnies, or chicks, and letting them dry before painting and decorating can also be a fun activity for kids.

Remember, always choose age-appropriate activities, and make sure to supervise your children during crafting activities.

(4) Bunny masks: Cut out bunny mask shapes from cardstock or construction paper, and let the kids decorate them with markers, paint, or stickers.

(5) Easter baskets: Use paper or plastic cups to make Easter baskets, then decorate with ribbons, stickers, or glitter.

(6) Paper plate chicks: Cut out a paper plate in the shape of a chick, then decorate with feathers, googly eyes, and a beak.

(7) Carrot craft: Use orange paper or tissue paper to create carrot-shaped decorations. You can add green tissue paper to the top to make the leaves.

(8) Easter Bunny finger puppets: Make bunny finger puppets using paper or felt, and decorate with markers or googly eyes.

(9) Easter-themed salt dough ornaments: Make salt dough using flour, salt, and water. Shape the dough into Easter-themed designs like eggs, bunnies, or chicks, and let dry. Then paint and decorate.
