Heidi Shelton is an independent agent and Owner/CEO of NCA Insurance Solutions. She is a mother of 6 and has 2 grandchildren. She was born and raised in Northern California and lived in Southern California for 8 years. Heidi moved to the Yuba Sutter area in 2012. Prior to her career in the insurance and financial industry, she was in the education field for 18 years including teaching from Preschool through high school and eventually becoming administration for a K-12 charter school in Southern California. She has a passion for community service and volunteers with many local non-profit organizations. In 2018 she received a congressional award for Community Advocacy and Service. She has also won multiple awards in her industry both regionally and nationally, including Top Producer, Top Agent, and Outstanding Trainer.

 

Heidi is passionate about developing effective and affordable plans for her clients, ensuring that they are optimizing their finances to provide themselves the best fit for their needs and goals. She is experienced in creating building and preserving retirement, assisting with Medicare, Life Insurance, Rollovers, 401(k), 403(b), Roth and Traditional IRAs, Small Business benefits and much, much more.  

With NCA Insurance Solutions, she and her sister, Wendy, created a Senior resource Fair which brought together many local resources who are now able to work together more efficiently to meet the needs of their clients and community.

 

Heidi’s passion for helping people has continued to grow and is able to be fostered through her work. She truly feels that she has found her calling saying, “No one ever says ‘I want to be an Insurance Agent when I grow up!’, but it has been the most fun and rewarding thing I have done so far!”
